Although New Year’s Day may read like the beginning of The Cat In the Hat (“no school to attend … museums all closed”) there are still plenty of adventures to be had on this otherwise uneventful day. From science experiments to lunch fixings, we’ve got the scoop on super-cool and creative ideas, so that your first day of 2015 will go down in history. Ring it in!
1. Ring in the “Noon Year”. If you’re like most parents, you probably spent that exciting final countdown between 2014 and 2015 snug in your bed, dreaming, with the tot lot doing the same just down the hall. Add a spectacular balloon drop right onto the living room floor. Happy Noon Year!
