Red Tricycle, a digital city guide for parents, launched it’s first-ever New York City community and newsletter edition this week. I was honored to be in attendance at the launch party which was hosted at the The Campbell Apartment with the movers and shakers of NYC. Below you will see some of the phenomenal bloggers I had a chance to meet. Also, The Baby Guy and Dagmar Bleasdale were in the house, didn’t get a chance to formally meet them, but as you can tell, it was a who’s, who of the blog community. As a brand, it was cool to meet many I know of and speak with on Facebook and twitter.
An awesome charity event, “Beauty and the Beat – Vol. 2: Heroines for Haiti” is recognizing eight women for the success in their respective fields this Friday, March 25, 2011. I am honored to say, I am one of the women who is being recognized for building a successful small business, Cute Beltz.
The event continues to recognize the struggles of Hati and therefore is donating a 100% of all proceeds to The Hip Hop Loves Foundation and Partners in Health’s Zanme Lamaste Haiti Project.
The event will be held at Cielo, 18 W. Little 12th St., New York, NY from 6pm to 10pm. Donations of $20.00 with RSVP.
If you are in the New York City area I encourage you to be apart of this extraordinary event.
